Mohammad Al-Ameri
Artist Mohammad Al Ameri was born in 1959 in Ghazawiya, in northern Jordan. His artistic passions emerged early on in his childhood, when he developed interests in poetry, prose and art. A seminal Jordanian artist, Al Ameri has represented the country in numerous fairs and biennales. He was also the first artist to organize a street art show on the grounds of the University of Jordan in his personal quest to erase artistic illiteracy. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions both regionally and internationally, and has received recognition both for his painting and his poetry.
Al Ameri began his artistic journey with a sharp inclination towards the realism and expressionism. He perfected a unique technique for scraping wax colors on the canvas. Later, his style took on a more modern quality, which eventually led him to abstract imagery. His work creates ties between thoughts and movement, making every element, line, color and from a visual climax. These forms and shapes give way to colors and composition, both of which are manipulated with brushstrokes and splatters to create imprints of objects, people, and scenes that Al Ameri experiences visually in his everyday life. Through his work, Al Ameri showcases his sensitivity, talent and technical skill by creating an intersection between the world of art and that of poetry, weaving them as two texts, one visual and the other psychological.

محمد العامري
ولد الفنان محمد العامري في منطقة الغزاوية في شمالي الأردن سنة 1959. وظهرت موهبته منذ الصغر حيث برع بالكتابة النصية و الشعرية، وقدم أكثر من ديوان شعري ونصوص نقدية فنية إلى جانب اشتغاله بالفن. مثّل الأردن في العديد من المهرجانات والملتقيات، وهو أول من أقام معرضاً في نفق الجامعة الأردنية ضمن مشروعه الخاص بمحو الأمية البصرية وشارك في عدد من المعارض الجماعية في داخل الأردن وخارجها، كما حاز على العديد من الجوائز في الفن والشعر.
بدأ العامري رحلته الفنية بالميل نحو الواقعية والتعبيرية الرمزية، مستخدماً تقنية خاصة به للألوان الشمعية، وعمل من خلالها على كشط السطح التصويري ، ومن ثم اتجه إلى الحداثة والتجريد، وقدم نظرية مغايرة من خلال عناصره وخطوطه المجردة، فربط ما بين الفكرة والحركة، وجعل من كل جزء من أجزاء اللوحة وفي كل خط من خطوطها ذروة للرؤيا، كما أنه اتخذ من اللون موضوعاً لخلق عالم مليء بالحيوية والإيقاع الفني المتميز، وجعل من اللون الأسود بؤرة للإيقاع في التكوين، والنقطة المحورية التي تخرج منها وإليها باقي العناصر، كما أنه استدعى بعض الرموز والمفردات التي تعكس المؤثرات البيئية في الشكل واللون والعناصر والتي يعايشها في بيئته اليومية. أظهر الفنان محمد العامري من خلال خطوطه حساسيته ومهارته وتمكنه من أدواته الفنية، كما أنه يكشف في تجاربه الفنية عن مساحات التقاطع بين فضاء التشكيل وفضاء الشعر كنصين بصري ومعنوي.
